wireless internet connection

I would like to get a wireless internet service provider, i already call up verizon, and they are offering only 28.8k(compressed)
and very limited area, can any one give me an idea who else have better plan?

thanks, but most of those service aren't really national,

i need something that can cover or almost cover the most part of the us. i live in ny

There aren't any wireless internet providers that have coverage for the majority of the US. This is still relatively new technology. Coverage will only be available in major metropolitan areas and very large cities.

Check with your local telephone company.....they should be able to help you.
especially if it Sprint/Earthlinks

i already checked, really hard to find something that will cover nation wide and with a reasonal price

its just to new....

Cable is not even available most places yet either.

I just got cable after waiting 3 yrs.



Sorry...maybe something will come along soon.

Oh I understood that...was only speaking of new technology being in areas only very highly populated.
