OS: Windows XP Home
Wireless network adapter: Netgear WG121 (USB)
ISP: Comcast broadband

Problem: I share a broadband Internet connection with my neighbors. They have the incoming Internet connection and a wireless router. There are four computers on this wireless LAN, and of those four, only mine is having a problem. This problem has been going on since this past Saturday. I can connect to the wireless LAN (I have been able to print a document on a printer attached to another computer on the LAN), but I cannot get the Internet. I have tried the fixes described on both the NetGear website and the Microsoft website. These fixes include: uninstalling SP2, uninstalling a particular hotfix, disabling Zero Configuration, rebooting the router, rebooting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling my network adapter, using the Windows WPA utility, using the settings utility that came with my network adapter. I have been using the Internet on this wireless LAN for almost a year (March is the anniversary) and have not had any problems until now. Can anyone think of anything I may have missed here?

My computer knowledge can be described as intermediate, possibly above intermediate. I don't normally need to ask for help, but this is beyond me.

I thank you in advance for any help you are able to provide. If you need any more information, please do not hesitate to let me know.

I began running the troubleshooter. I got hung up here:

http://www.howtonetworking.com/Internet/internetaccessa3.htm

I have attempted to ping several IPs, with negative results for all:
another computer on the wireless LAN
my personal website
the Default Gateway

I have sent an email to my neighbors asking them to verify that what my IPconfig query results displayed are correct. I suspect that they are, though, because the information is essentially the same as my roommate's computer's TCP/IP settings, with the exception of the last set of digits in the IP address being one number off (xxx.xxx.xxx.100 vs xxx.xxx.xxx.101).

It would seem, for the moment, that I am stuck.
