Hello. I am trying to fix my sister's Samsung Sens x20 running XP service pack 2. She was having trouble getting a wireless network to connect. I updated the relevant software, including a driver update for the wireless card, which is a Intel PRO wireless 2200BG. I have also checked ipconfig/all, which states for "Wireless Network" that the media is disconnected, even though the light for the wireless card is on. Since this is a Korean laptop, a rough translation of the problem seems to be that "Connect to a Wireless Network" is not connected. I have also checked the BIOS to see if the wireless card was turned off there, but no options were there. The router itself works on another laptop, and this laptop works with a ethernet cable connection.

I seem to have exhausted the software route, and I am asking for a hardware solution. Does anyone have a possible solution, or have a similar problem?

There are no warning signs for network adapters.
There are two things: a Broadcom 440x 10/100 integrated controller and the aformentioned Intel PRO 2200BG network connection.
