My sister is a bit rough on her computer - a Dell laptop; I don't think the particular model is important, but I can get it if it is. She's broken quite a few "normal" wireless cards, and I'm hoping to find a better replacement for her. Any suggestions?

What do you mean by "normal" wireless cards? PCMCIA
Hardwired through an ethernet port would be more durable.
There is a wireless usb adapter but that would be more vulnerable than pcmcia.
Try giving her lessons on how to be more careful;)

Yes, PCMCIA. How difficult would things be if we took the "ethernet" route?
And yes, she's killed about five flash drives.
Giving her lessons on being careful?? Why not tell a tree to move out of the way?

It would mean running a cat 5 cable from the modem router to her ethernet port, if it has one

OH. That's what you meant.
I suppose we'll just have to find a more durable card, then. Thanks, though. :p
