I had to reinstall a hard drive and operating system on my computer. Windows will not set up wireless networking so I followed instructions, clicked on Properties in the wireless icon in Network Connections, but the window comes up with only two tabs: General and Advanced. The Wireless Network Connections tab that comes up on my other computers is missing so I can't configure Windows to set up wireless connections. Advice?

Do you have another wireless utility running? If so, it probably has an option (such as "use Windows to manage wireless") to turn itself off and turn Windows XP's Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC) on.

Not sure if this is what you are talking about since I mostly avoid using WZC.
