Need to make a wireless connection between a PC and a Mac and do not know where to begin. What I need the network for is to allow each computer to access the other's drives. I need them to be able to share files.

Here's my guess: Purchase a Dell TrueMobile 2300 wireless router for the PC and a RoamAbout 11Mbps PcCard FCC Wireless NIC for the Mac. Beyond that, it takes operating system settings on each computer to allow them to access each other. Am I right?

Is that a good start? Can you suggest alternate hardware? Is there any other hardware or software I need to purchase to make this happen? On the software side, is it just a matter of setting up each operating system to allow for the network, or is there additional software I need to install?

Thanks for your time and help!
