Hi - I just bought a notebook with built-in wireless mobility. I have Road Runner as my ISP on my desktop unit. Is there any other equipment I need for sharing my Internet connection with my notebook?

I moved you over to networking.

You obviously need a wireless router connected to the ISP connection. What make/model is the modem supplied with your service? Do you currently have a broadband router, if so the make/model of that device.

That modem has an ethernet connection, so what you need to add is a wireless router. They come with 4 LAN (ethernet) ports also, so your desktop (and up to 3 more PCs) will have a connection too.
