I use Digivue security system. I am ble to view my shop over the net. I recenlty added a wireless d link router. Now I am unable to view over the net. I beleive that the dlink is blocking my ip address. I have a static ip address that i cant ping. when I disconnect the wireless router I am am able to ping again. How do I prevent my wireless router from blocking my ip address?

You probably need to port forward the ports that the security system uses through the router. The failure to ping is because the router is configured to block ICMP requests, I believe that's on the Tools page in the router config.
