I currently have a USB Router connected to my upstairs computer and a Link Sys Card on my down stairs unit for my kids . The Wireless system has been nothing but a major pain with constantly losing it's signal . The kids keep adjusting the antenni and have broke it repeatedly . I finally shipped it back to the company and after 6 weeks , it might be on it's way back ....maybe . What I need to know is : can I plug in the communication line dirrectly to the USB ; run a line down stairs to the other unit and get rid of the link sys router altogether or should I buy another ethernet card with a double plug for my upstairs computer ? The ladder of the two sounds easier but I already have all this junk and would like to use it . THANKS Don

If you'd be more specific about specific make/model of the router, etc., we could be more help. I'd lose all the USB and use Ethernet all around, but that's not always possible.
