So i bought i pair of Turtle Beach X31s (wireless headset), shortly after i started have problems connecting to xbox live. It would let me sit at the dashboard forever, but when i try and start up a game, i would get disconnected every time. I navigated through the support section of xbox.com, and took advice saying to disconnect other wireless devices near the wireless network adapter on the back of my xbox. So i unplugged the transmitter for my turtle beaches, and was able to play games online just fine. Turns out the wireless turtle beaches ran on the same frequency as the router (2.4 Ghz). Is there any way i can fix this and use my turtle beaches and play online at the same time? I dont want to have wasted $100.

You can always try a different broadcast channel on the router. I might not help, but it might.

i have x31`s and a cheap router but i only rarely get interferance so ring up the company of the router and see if you can change the frequency but other than that the only other thing is to wire your xbox to your router
