Hi Guys, I want to extend the wi fi but the hub is downstairs and I would like to use the internet on my tv which is located upstairs in the bedroom, any ideas;
I am unable to hardwire another modem because this would trail across the floor in the other room across the hall, where there is a power socket.
I am positive, I saw a small hub,( the size of a saucer) that only had one wire leading from it, to the modem to the wireless hub.

Any ideas or thoughts about I can resolve my dilemma.

If you are worried about ethernet cable running across the floor, you can always staple them to the base of the wall, up the door frame and cross over to the other side of the room. I remember cat 5 cables can go 100 feet.
