Ok, here goes my first post here...
I have a Accer laptop, windows XP mediea center Edition. Its has 60GB of HDD.
I Have been using WMM here for over a year. I download movies from my cannon power shot SD 400. Files go to, " my pictures" and then i move them to "my videos" and i import them to WMM. Or somtimes i import them right from "My Pictures" .
The past 2 weeks now , when i go to save movie file, it wont save it. Here is what the error reads:

WMM can not save movie to specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movies are still avaialble, that the saving location is available, and there is enough space....

I know how to check for the amount of space and there is enough. So it has to be the other 2 options.
I have tried, and checked everything i k.ow. A friend directed me here. Any help or suggestions would be VERY appreciated.
    Thank you

I think you missed my link to the forums for WMM have a look in there http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/Forums/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=714#714

Have you thought about givibg Windows Photo Story a try? you can download that for free here http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/default.mspx

Another one I have used is this free trial one (it doesnt expire) but it limits you to 30 photos,if you want to use more you have to buy the updated version, other than that its very good, lets you add transitions and background music etc
