    Hi,
Just need to get this solved since I see alot of people trying to do the same. I used to have the Netgear WNR1000v3 as my main router and wireless accesspoint. But I recently bought a Asus RT-AC66U (which rocks btw). Since my appartment is quite big and in my bathroom I get poor reception literally :)(20-25%), I thought i set up the WNR1000v3 as a repeater to my Asus. It looks like it's doable but some pieces are missing. Also the Netgear doesnt take over the wifi signal from my Asus when I'm in the bathroom. This is my idea how this would work.
Did anyone do this successfully and could post a guide or something?

    Thanks!
