Is there a way to generate standard bar codes in Word 2000. I believe postal codes can be done but I need a more general method.

Do a search for "barcode fonts" and "Microsoft Word" on the web.

    :)

HM!! I just learned something new re Word2000! I'd seen references to Barcodes, but assumed that the full Office program had to be installed--all that's been on mine is Word2000--to use them, & never fooled around with it. I'll take a look at it again.

It looks like the skandata ttf is the easiesr and cheapest solution since all I require is code 39.

    Thanks for your help again...

Okay, I am finding LOTS of barcode fonts, but none of them are freeware. Am I asking too much?

Yes I guess its too much to ask, the one I liked was $98.
