No matter how many times I reinstall, uninstall or install Word 2000. My whole computer freezes whenever I try to run it.
I get as far as the Splash Screen until everything but the mouse pointer freezes.

When I use Ctrl-Alt-Del, I am presented with a blue screen saying that my System is Busy Waiting for the Close Program Dialog Box.

Hitting any key goes to a black screen and a message box stating that the System is Dangerously low on resources and that I need to close some programs. Doing this doesn't work and the only way to get the computer going again is to restart it.
I'm confused because once the computer is booted up I have an average of 70 - 75% of resources free. And by using Norton System Doctor I am able to see that right up until my computer freezes I have at least 65% of resources free.

If anyone knows how I can fix this I would be very greatful.

    My computer specs are:

    Pentium 4 1.5Ghz
    256Mb RAM
55 GB Hard Drive (34 GB Free Space)
NVIDA GeForce 2 100/200 Graphics Card

    My startup list is:
