Hi,
I dont know if this is even doable but I will run what my thought is and hopefully someone can guide me or help me. I usually use Word for typing letters/reports, etc basic stuff.....
I have a challenge and wanted to see if it is doable in Word.
I have a combo box with product line and I have another combo box with defect code. I was wondering how to get about this. I want the user to when they chose a certain product from "ProductLine" combo box the DefectCode combo box will only show the defects applicable to that product line.
One thought is to create a defect code combo box for each product line. So for example if I have 8 product lines I ill have 8 Defect code combo box. The problem is how to hide all disable or guide the user to which combox to use.
The other thought I had but dont know how to go about it. Create Defect Combo box for all defect code and when a certain product line is chosen then a macro in the background will work and populate the Defectcode combobox with the specific defect code for that product line
Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated
