Every time I add a footnote in a Word 2007 document, I get an additional footer, all complete with the correct pagination, but can't be accessed not even in Header & Footer mode. Can someone advise where the settings are that can change this:(

    cheers....

I haven't ever come across this before. I don't get a footer when i insert a footnote. Can you attach the document so I can see it?

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, the document is Commercial in Confidence so I can't send the whole thing, but I've attached a screen dump showing what happens on the page.
What I'd forgotten to mention earlier is that these sections had been cut & pasted from another Word 2007 document.
    Sure hope you can help.
    Cheers & Thanks....

So the problem is this part? (See Attached)

If so, I don't think it has anything to do with the Footnotes. It is to do with the Page Break as it appears between the page break and the Footnote

Try deleting that page break to see if it disappears.

    Keep me posted
