Word Document Help

    I accidentally deleted an important word document. How can I get this back.

    If it is listed in the "Recycle Bin" you can recover it, if NOT the file is "Toast".

    On your Start Menu see if you see "Recent Items" or "Documents" as it may have been saved there.

    I deleted it from the recycle bin.

    It might still be there as "recent document" on start menu.

    Try a system Restore to a day before you deleted it....

    System Restore does not bring back files...you know that!

    Well I know but it gave me time to find this and it will not bring a file back that is not there but usually the file is still there it is just the first bit that has been changed so it might have worked:

    Restore files, which are deleted by mistake from the recycle bin or deleted while holding down the Shift key. Freeware : A resource of all free software.

    MikeSwim07, if this file is really important, I suggest you turn off the PC, slave the drive to another PC and use another OS to run the software devil_himself suggested.
