I had used Works to print out a page of family history. I wanted to send it to family members, but realized they may not be able to open the e-mail files if they didn't have Works on their computer. So, I selected the page and pasted it into Word on my computer. The pasted page took up 2 pages with wide spaces between the lines and paragraphs. I tried to change the spaces, going to Format and Line spacing. It would not change the spaces. Can you give me any clues why it would not change the spaces. The only changes that occurred was the cutting off the top of the letters in each line!! I'd appreciate any help. Thanks, Lila

Try using PrimoOnline to convert the Works version to PDF. If successful, send the PDF instead.

ETA: FYI Adobe Reader isn't needed to open PDFs; FireFox/Opera/IE handle them fine.
