When trying to print a mail merge project that was just finished (250 letters with a client logo and company name at top) the following occurs:

1- (Printer #1) 1st page (test copy) prints fine, but the second, third . . . have white blocks on the black logo and company name.

2- (Printer #2) The same thing

3- (Printer #3) No white blocks (Yeah) but now there appears to be a border around the bottom and rights side of the logo/company name.

Printer 1=HP 4 Plus, Printer 2=HP 4si, Printer 3=HP LJ4500

Any ideas/assitance would be greatly appreciated.

rantos, without knowing what program you are using all I can suggest is open the program, go to tools, options, printing and check your settings. You may have it set to not print images or whatever.

Second what does the print preview show?

If this doesn't help, please post back more information and we will be glad to try to help.

The application is MS Word97 merging from an Access97 db. The print preview does not show any 'problems'.

Thanks for any help or ideas!!

Sorry it took me so long to get back. Had an appointment.

Try printing from FILE, Print, check your options there. The problem has to be in the Office programs if it is doing this with all of your printers.

Second thing you can do is go to Help, detect and repair.

It has to lie in MS Office product. Try this an humor me. Just do another mail merge similar, doesn't have to be exactly the same but just something to check the program with, to the one you have and try printing it.

That will tell you if the file is corrupt.
