I went to open Wordpad and it is no longer available. How do I find it or re-install it?

In Windows XP, word pad is located here -

    "C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe"

Go look there and see if it is there. If so you can create a shortcut for it on your desktop.

I did this and the file cannot be found. If I use the Windows XP CD to reinstall Wordpad, what are the steps to do this?

    Click start>run
    Type wordpad and hit enter
    See if it works

Also if you uprgade your service pack it will reinstall it

Wordpad dissappeared on me as well. I followed this path and found it. I added a short cut on my startup menu. Thanks - I wasn't smart enough to figure this one out so I just did without it for sometime now. Thank you.
