Hi

I have a computer set up just for running music production applications .

Only the ( work offline | try again ) windows keeps on popping up .

It annoys the hell out of me !

I uninstalled internet explorer as i dont want internet on this machine , but it still keeps on popping up .

Is there a way to totaly disable this feature in windows ? I'm using XP Pro .

Thanks Joe .

Its the software your using thats trying to update itself.. I you might be able to change the settings of the program thats trying to update.. To never check for updates. But there are a lot out there where you do not have this option..

Hi

I realise that a program is trying to do this . But it doesn't have an uncheck search for updates option and therefore must be an automatic process .

Is there a way to totaly disable the windows function of it .

The program must be telling windows to initialise this function in the first place .

Thanks

Joe

Bump !

I recently installed a game on the machine for my young son to play and it jumps to the desktop to state the same problem whilst he is playing it .

Does anybody know an answer to my problem ?

What version of windows are you using?

How did you un-install Internet Explorer from Windows?
