I just reinstalled microsoft works 2000 which included word2000 and i got this error message. "error 1919 , error configuring odbc data source. dbase files-word,odbc error 6. component not found in the registry. verify that the file dbase files - word exists and u can access it."
Is this important and should i do anything? thanx

Quick guess without researching but any time I've received ODBC errors, it usually meant something was corrupt and reinstalling MDAC resolved the prob.
    Try downloading and installed <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/data/download_250rtm.htm">MDAC 2.5</a>.

Also, what OS? Could be a restriction on your login.
