I have Works 2000 installation icon on my desktop. Whenever I try to install it, I get the following error message: Error extracting support files: the system cannot find the file specified.
Now, when I enter C:\CPQDRV\wksinstall, I find all the stuff I need there (i.e. icons labelled: ikernel.ex, msworks, Setup, and a Setup read me file.) When I click on the msworks icon, I get the message: A required .DLL file, WKSGEN.DLL, was not found..HOWEVER, whenI use file search, it picks up the wksgen file.
    Please help!!!!!!!!

n.b. I bought the computer (Compaq Pressario) with the program already on it, and have installed it once, but I used system restore which took it back to before I installed it.....now this!
