Would faulty RAM do this?

    Would a faulty RAM socket or module make this flashing screen come up?

    This screen came after "a half post" where it posted the the first few lines of what it was supposed to. The reason I ask is cause when I moved the RAM into the other socket on the board it worked fine?

    It could, especially if you its integrated video.

    I'd test the RAM to be sure its good: http://www.memtest.org/
