Hi, I was hoping if someone might be able to answer a couple of questions about wifi networks. Basically, I was at work and I had a tab left open from the previous day (from when I was at home, which I'd rather people didn't see). If I had opened a new tab since and hadn't reloaded it or even tapped on the old tab upon getting to work, would the history of that search, transfer over to the new wifi's history, since technically it was still open despite me not interacting with it? Thanks in advance : )
I am not sure of what you are asking. Browsing history is in your browser but will not report where you opened it. Unless there are interactive ads/pictures that refresh themselves, no new data will show in the browsing history.
Sorry if I was a little unclear. Basically I got to work and had a tab open I forgot about, I had opened a new tab since then so was not on it, nor did I interact with it again until I got home from work (so I didn't reload it or even click on it). Would the fact that, that tab was open show up on the work's wifi search history? Thanks : )
If you just closed your laptop at home (didnt power it down) and left the browser open I would say yes, the next time the machine had internet access I would assume the browser would send a refresh request.
Were you on wifi or on 4G?
Your posts aren't clear on that.
