K, there's this new game out now but the recommended system requirements are higher than my system. It recommends a 3 gig processor, 1 gig ram, and a geforce 6800 or equivilent. I have a 2.6 gig processor, 1 gig ram, and a geforce 6600. If I buy, say, another half of gig of ram, do you guys think that extra ram would make up for my lack of processor speed and/or video card? (By the way, the new game I am referring to is Oblivion)

Thanks in advance.

that's the recommended specs. your computer will run it fine. of course more RAM is never a bad thing... but you dont need it.
