WoW must be played in DVD drive????

    whats up guys, just bought a copy of WoW and my PC has 2 drives, one is DVD drive which i think is broke, and the other is CD RW, i have always been able to play my games in that drive but this game says dvd rom on the cd and it wont play in the CD RW drive so, will it only play in a DVD drive? or can i do something to make it work in the CD RW? please help! thanx!

    You answered your own question.

    DVD drives can play CD discs and DVD discs, CD drives can play CD discs but not DVD.

    Different technology.

    WoW as in World of Warcraft? Once it's installed you wont need the disc in at all.
    So just install it with the DVD drive, take the disc out, and enjoy. :D

    If it is broke.. Download WoW from Blizzard. All you really need is the CD key to activate your account.
    Just be ready for the many patches you will likely need in order to play. :(
