I have been given a floppy with some files on it stored in .wps format. I don't know what version of Works they were created with but I do know that I would like to convert them to .doc format or even .rtf. Can anyone help please?

Unfortunately it didnt work. When I tried to convert from Works 4.0 to any other format I got an error message and when I tried converting from Works 2000 I got a message saying "Works cannot access one or more required files. The files may have been renamed, deleted or moved. Try reinstalling Works, and then starting the program again.". I dont have a copy of Works to reinstall so I'm a bit stuck

    I don't think so !

But you can search by yourself a freeware or a shareware on the web to convert yours wps files.

That's all I can tell you. I have no more idea.

    Good Luck ;)

Try this...I have done it in the past and most times it worked. Change the 3 digit file extention from .wps to .doc or .txt.
