wrong drivers what they cause

    my co. got a HP LJ 2200 DN printer and our Systems Administrator has installed LJ 2200PS driver for it , the printer is not printing properly is the wrong installations are the cause. What is the most extreme thing that can happen to the printer???:confused:
    and in general what can wrong installations of drivers can cause

    return to HP.com & get the right drivers for your printer & install them in system properties/device manager... also you should have a disk for the printer

    Hi hailgautam, welcome to TSG.

    Installing the wrong drivers will give you the result you are experiencing. No damage will be done to the machine or the printer.

    The PS at the end is for a Post Script version of the same driver for the same printer. You might have printing problems with post script, but it will not damage the hardware.
