wwhat is quicktime?

    is quicktime a virus or trojan?,i got it on my pc and can not get rid of it,i use settings, add remove and it is still there.tia

    Quicktime is a media player by Apple. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    how do i get rid of it i want it off my pc??

    Have you tried removing it using control panel and then add/remove programs as it should be listed there .

    i use settings ,add remove which is in ctrl panel,but it is still there.i also did alt-ctrl-del and it still pops back up,that is why i asked it it a virus or trojan.tia

    Ctrl-Alt-Del only closes a program that is running until you restart your computer. Is quicktime creating a problem? If so we can deal with the problem please be specific. If not a problem I suggest leaving it alone. It is not a virus and may be set to open some of your files.

    If you still want to remove it then let us know.
