Okay so I'm trying to connect my Xbox 360 to Live by bridging my computer's wireless connection. I've done this before for a friend in a different city and it worked fine, and I felt very proud of myself for doing so. However when I try to connect here, the modem won't assign my Xbox an IP address. I've been into ipconfig/all and tried to manually assign the same IP address to the Xbox but to no avail. Same deal with the alternate MAC address option. I've been trawling the forums for hours now and I've seen fixes for this exact issue but they haven't worked for me.

I've only got a very basic knowledge of IT and I need help. Who's keen?
To speed things along here's the readout from my ipconfig/all:

In addition to this the ethernet connection between my laptop and the Xbox lists itself as "unidentified public network". I can't change this option.

Much internet karma to whoever helps this poor newb.

What connections are in the bridge?

It looks to me from your ipconfig /all that you may have an ethernet port connected to the Xbox and some other connection bridged with the wireless.

As far as I can tell I've bridged my only LAN ethernet adapter to my primary wireless adapter. I've attached screenshots.

I've seen that you've helped other people out with this exact issue on these forums, Terry. I trust that you can help me too. :)
