Hi I made another topic with a problem which was helpfully solved but now it seems my Xbox LIve connection keeps dropping every 10 minutes or so even though the internet in the laptop seems fine, anyone has any idea why this is happening? Could it be just internet acting up? Is bridging unstable?

Any help would be appreciated

PS Would reset router and modem but they are not in my room so that might have to wait until tomorrow if its a suggestion/solution.

For those who want to see the background and environment here is the other thread. Briefly, the laptop connects to a router via Wi-Fi and to the Xbox by ethernet and the connections are bridged.

Offhand I can't think of why the Xbox would lose internet access while the laptop retains it. What do you have to do to regain Xbox internet access?

Not sure how that would work on my case, just turned off windows firewall to see if it makes a difference.
