Did you mean as a way to use the monitor as a screen, or Xbox Connect which is a free version of Xbox Live?

that doesn't really solve the sound issue; how would you hear the games?

The best (and cheapest) way to play consoles (xbox, PS2 & GC) through a pc is to buy an analogue tv tuner card. I picked up a 2nd hand Hauppauge off ebay for £12. What is important though is that you get the type that has the composite inputs on it, the yellow, red & white jacks (s-video + 2xaudio). This is because that is *exactly* the cables coming off your console. Simply install the tv tuner card, and software to view input from it (eg winTV2000), plug your PS2 into the tuner card ports, select the input (eg AV) and voila, console gaming on ur pc, either fullscreen or in a window

Opps my bad. :) I guess you can get a converter for that too, but I guess the TV Tuner would be the easiest and cheapest way :)
