I find various files I want to get from Xolox and click to download them but they simply remain in the transfer folder. Any way to get them or do I just need to ask for those files again and hope to get lucky?

went through their faq prior to posting here and nothing of value to what I am seeing. I find a file, click on it and it just sits in my transfer folder. I guess it is similar to kazaa saying more sources but unlike kazaa where that happens 1 in 10 in xolox it happens 9 of 10.

Also the xolox search function sux. There doesn't seem to be a way to do an exact search. For example if you ask for joe blow you get files with "joe" and "blow" and "joe blow" and this is whether you put the word(s) in quotes or not. If you select the advanced option and select both an artist and album title you get zero hits - even if you choose a very popular title.

    Found this:

    http://www.slyck.com/xolox.html

Also, have you got the latest updates?

The latest version is 1.56, and you may want to get some newer servers:

Note: if you cannot connect, edit your Gwebcache list. It's recommended you remove existing ones when having connection problems, then adding new ones.

Go here, and click on GwebCache:

And you'll see what I mean.
