All I have to say is that I wish I would have read the message boards BEFORE I intalled WindowsXP, my life would have been easier AS I SIT HERE WITH NO SOUND!
All problems as far as I know are fixed except the SOUND.

(I went from 98 to ME to XP. 1.2 Ghz, 128RAM)

    Any suggestions?

What is the make and model of your sound card? Have you downloaded the XP drivers for the card or are there none for XP? Are there any conflicts showing in Device Manager?

ALso, do you know if it's a sound card or onboard sound. (on the motherboard). Is it enabled in the BIOS? more info needed.
