A friend has XP and I recently downloaded the SP 1 for this as I understood this was the way to get the Microsoft Virtual Machine for his computer.

In 98SE, I could find this listed under Tools/Internet Options/Advanced. Will it be listed in the same place in XP?

    Thanks

MS took the Java VM off their site (version 3809). Figuring the way things were going this might happen, you can still download that version at:
    http://home.attbi.com/~cerelli/msjavx86.exe

Then you don't need to install all of SP1.
