XP and NTFS

    I upgraded to XP and wasn't presented with a choice of FAT-32 or NTFS. I want the latter but according to system information the XP install gave me the former.

    Can I convert to NTFS without losing my data? How?

    i dont believe you will loose any data, but here is the commands for converting the drive NTFS. good luck.

    In the command prompt window, type:

    convert drive_letter: /fs:ntfs

    Thanks, I'll try it on my E: drive first before doing the c: drive
