    Hi All,

I was trying to give my wife more disk space on her Toshiba laptop. I deleted a few programs then tried to delete a trial version of Acrobat 7. It got to 1% left as it was working on something with the print spooler and locked up. I have been unable to restart and just kept getting a black screen with the cursor arrow. I repaired the windows from the installation disk (was an OEM install but I used my XP disk). I can only get windows to boot in safe mode. When I try to boot in normal mode it says system shut down transferring physical memory to disk. All of her data is intact and I am transferring to a portable HD now while in safe mode, but taking forever. HELP!!

    Thanks so much,

    Michael

There is every chance this is a ram fault
However, whilst in Safe Mode, see this please and configure Clean Boot.
