I bought an XP Boot Disk so I could upgrade a machine that recently came into my possession from ME.
I deleted the primary partition, turned it on, and got the expected "No OS Detected" message, but when I put in my boot disk, I get the same message again.
The CD Drive is working, as when I use an MS-DOS floppy, I can get to the CD's Setup file...but it won't boot or load from anywhere that I can find.

Can anyone help me with this?

If you can boot with a DOS floppy and access the files on the CD ROM,
just format the drive, copy the CD to a directory on the hard drive and install from there.
