    Dear Techies

I have just installed a new m/b an asus a7n8x-x in my computer and have encountered 2 problems that are baffling me
    1) xp won't recognize my usb drive location in the drive manager
    2) xp won't recognize my slave drive but it is recognized by the bios.

    Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Check the manual for the MOBO and make sure the jumpers for the USB are enabled. Also check the BIOS for USB enabled.

Check the jumpers in the HDD and make sure there set to master and slave and not cable select.
