XP has been locking up intermittently on me for quite some time now and I have tried everything under the sun to find out what was causing this.....well, just found this error message about 25 times in the log: AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from an illegal IO port address (0xcfc), which lies in the 0xcf8 - 0xcff protected address range. This could lead to system instability. Please contact your system vendor for technical assistance.
I am assuming this is the problem, but have no idea what to do about it....any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!! Thanks
