xp help

    i trying to load my OS on my machine and this messege
    comes up on startup i cant boot it.

    CDBoot cannot boot from cd code 4

    plz help

    The first thing I would try is see if the CD boots on another PC (except do not let the setup proceed beyond boot).

    Try keeping a blank CD drive and then restarting.If this does not help,change your BIOS boot sequence or if it in Windows,then disable unnecessary items using startup.See if it helps or not.
