A friend/co-worker has a Dell Inpsiron 6000 w/XP SP2. When it hibernates it will not wake up properly. You're supposed to be able to tap the power button and it bring up the log-on dialog. The power button tap STARTS the log-on but it hangs and screen goes black. Only forcing it power down will restart the system.

It runs the following... (plus several other programs)
NOD32
Sygate Personal Firewall
Microsoft Anti-Spyware
- in addition to 3 or 4 programs that he uses in his sales quotes, etc I can get a list of those if necessary.

It is set up VERY similarly to my 6 other pcs.

Any ideas what might be causing it? Is there an update that might have the fix?

Thank you in advance!
