I am sorry but what you want to do is not only illegal but can not be done with a image because the re-imaged drive when you boot up will try to acclimate itself to the computer and hardware and will not work. What you need actually is the Windows install software and the only way you can get it unfortunately is to purchase it.

What are you talking about??? I just needed a media pack. The licenscing would be exactly the same. You dont seem to know what you are talking about. The OEM media is all i needed. I already have the product key. The key is not tied to any one CD the product key is for just that hardware set. So I have no idea what you are talking about and before you accuse me of illegal activity please do research. And when I say image I am talking about an image of the MEDIA wich is the CD.

depending on the licence key, you might run into problems

many OEM licence keys are linked to a specific OEM customized version of windows & without that particualr version, it will reject the licence key

This happens particularly with Dell & HP/Compaq computers but can occur with others

In any event, it would be illegal to upload it to any site for download.

It's pretty clear that it's not available legally for download, so I think closing this thread is probably a good idea.
