I have put a new hard drive in my computer, I am installing XP. It has got to the 'Installing Windows' part and the BSOD appeared. I was away for the computer at the time so I do not know what happened to it in that time I did a restart and went through the process again and it happened again at the same time. again I restarted the computer and this time in the same place an error message appeared telling me the one of the system files is unreadable.

I don't know what to do

    Usual causes:

    Dirty or cracked installation cd
    Faulty CD drive
    Faulty memory
Using a copy of install cd instead of an original
