    hey folks,
Got a dell laptop here thats giving me some grief. i just got it and havent had the chance to troubleshoot it just yet, but i thought i would post the log for you guys so you can take a peek too.

For some reason this laptop doesnt want to get online. It has a lan connection and is pulling up an ip. both from the wired and wireless connection available. I'm not sure what im missing. Maybe its to early in the morning for troubleshooting network issues.

Has the firewall on the PC that's connected to the net been told to allow the laptop access?

    can you ping out?

I see mcafee there... is it just the AV? or the firewall too? If so, try disabling the firewall.
