xp keeps lockin up

everytime i try and do something xp locks up, this is a new pc, any one help me please

i'm vary new to this but willing to learn

ight first you need to try to download ad aware or spybot and run them i think to me that sounds like it is a spyware issue

already got them, seems to me that theres to much going on at once, but i'm not sure

alright well hit alt ctrl del and then look at waht is taking up your main part of your processor

go into task manager and go to processes and c what is takin up the most of ur memory usage and tell me what that is right now
