The IP address is what the modem is giving to your computer when the modem does not see the internet. Contact your ISP.

    I can't find anything about a Ubee 3236. Is it a modem only? Or a modem/router?

Please show for when you have a connection and for when it has been lost ...

Open a (black) Command Prompt window:
Hold the Windows logo key and press r; in the Run box type cmd and click on OK.

    Type the following command:

    IPCONFIG /ALL

[Note that there is no space between the slash and ALL.]

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If necessary use a text file and removable media to copy the results to a computer with internet access.

You cannot access the modem by your Default Gateway because it is a modem only (or else a modem/router that is "bridged" to act as a modem only). You may be able to access it by 192.168.100.1.

What kind of service do you have (ADSL, cable, satellite, etc.)?

Cable. Heres a link for a modem what looks like mine http://www.ubeeinteractive.com/products/cable/evm3200 . When i loose connection the ipconfig log looks same as when i have connection until i try to renew it.

Edit: That address was the first what ive tryed to access with no luck. After some google search found some1 saying that i can try accessing it with my Default Gateway.

Don't know why you are losing communication with your ISP, but it appears to be a problem with the modem, the ISP or the cabling between ISP and modem.

Try pinging the Default Gateway and a Google server. In a Command Prompt:

    ping 89.137.144.1

    ping 8.8.4.4

They will work when you have internet access. When you have lost the connection try them again. If the Default Gateway fails you have lost all communication with the ISP. If that is OK but the 8.8.4.4 fails then the ISP is having a problem with the gateway server. If they both work you haven't really lost connection and we have some more work to do.

If your modem is a gateway as TN mentioned, then the default gateway will not work as that is your ISPs router. The 192.168.100.1 is your modem, which can be accessed regardless if you can access the internet nor not. The 192.168.100.10 is handed out to the device connected because it has no signal from the ISP.

Trust the person that works for an ISP... ;)

Certainly if the connection is not configured correctly for the signals, that would cause the drop. Is your cable connected directly to a wall jack or a splitter?

Try 192.168.100.254 then. Either way, since your ISP upgraded your services including the modem, they should be supporting you. They should have tools to confirm your modem resetting itself.

You still have an IP configuration (as you stated earlier) but have lost all communication with your ISP. While a firewall on your computer or a defective cable or NIC could cause this, since "My connection works only after i restart my modem" I have to conclude that we are right back to Couriant's post # 2. If it's not a modem problem it is most likely some other ISP problem.

You could try another computer (maybe a friend will try a laptop if you have only one computer) to rule out your PC and the cable from modem to PC.
