I am attempting to recover a user profile. I am receiving the following:

Windows cannot load the locally stored profile: Insufficient security rights or a corrupted local file. Windows has logged you in with a temporary profile any setting you make will not be saved.

I have attempted to create a new profile and transferred the data from the old to the new how ever I receive the same error when I reboot.

    Any suggestions?

I did the repair of the os from the install disks and that seems to have done the trick. Rebooted several time with no error.
